Tonight, Thursday, April 21, Showtime is airing a replay of Corrales-Castillo I. It airs at 10 PM Eastern and Pacific time.
The fight between the late Diego Corrales and Jose Luis Castillo was held on May 7, 2005 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Virtually every scribe in attendance said it was best fight they had ever seen. Al Bernstein says it was the best fight he had the privilege of announcing in his 35 years behind the mike.
I'll bet that even if the details of the fight have become murky with the passage of time, that many of you have a vivid recollection of where you were when you were watching the fight.
