Manny Pacquiao Nearly Assaulted Outside LA Restaurant

According to news reports, Manny Pacquiao was nearly assaulted outside an LA area restaurant about 3 PM on Sunday afternoon, April 3. The restaurant was identified as the Kabuki Japanese Restaurant on Vine Street in Hollywood. Pac-man went there with family and friends after attending church services.

The would-be assailant, described as a tall, well-dressed white man in his thirties, shouted "**** you Pacquaio" as he approached the fighter and was said to be only inches away when members of Pacquaio's entourage interceded. On Pacquiao's orders, they let the man go without roughing him up. There were no U.S. media present and the police were not notified.
